This year marks 20 years since De Wit Speciality Oils acquired the extraction facility New Holland Extraction (NHE) in the UK.
Set on the southside of the Humber estuary NHE has been producing seed oils by both cold pressing and solvent extraction and is constantly evolving and exploring new, more efficient and sustainable ways of doing so. Huge congratulations to the entire team at New Holland Extraction with their 20th anniversary.
Celebrating 20 Years
New Holland Extraction is one of the few niche small scale seed oil toll extractors in Europe, batch sizes ranging from 10MT to 500MT. NHE offers highly specialized services, depending on the customer's needs, they are able to extract by either cold pressing or hexane extraction.
In a behind the scenes tour from managing director Mark Smith during a recent visit to the the facilities in New Holland near Barton-upon-Humber, sales manager Imme Dros-Evers and marketing manager Hester Whyte received a great overview of the process from seed to oil. Getting a tour of the lab as well as the warehouse, presses and extraction facilities.
