De Wit Speciality Oils is the exclusive distributor for EssentiOmegaTM by Originates marine Omega-3 EPA/DHA concentrates for continental Europe. These concentrates are produced by Naturmega in Colombia quite close to the source of Peruvian fish oils.

Supply of Peruvian fish oil has to comply with stringent regulations and fishing guidelines. These guidelines are strictly monitored and enforced. All this to prevent overfishing and exhausting our oceans resources. Naturmega and De Wit Speciality Oils are committed to help preserving the health of the oceans and use raw material from sustainable sources.

Naturmega is a member of GOED and committed to minimizing the impact of its manufacturing processes on the environment. The company closely monitors its manufacturing facilities and has water treatment and recirculation systems that recycle and re-use residual and in-process waters.The facilities also use equipment to closely monitor CO2 emissions.

De Wit Speciality Oils has a subsidiary company based in England: New Holland Extraction Ltd. NHE is a toll extraction facility that specialise in oil extraction from seeds, biomass etc. Key capabilities include their ability to process a wide range of raw materials through several different processes. These include pressing, pre-pressing and solvent (hexane) extraction. NHE also has research and development facilities including a small scale pilot plant and QC laboratory. NHE process batch sizes ranging from 5 to 500 metric tonnes.
